The Plainfield Community
Baptist Church is an American Baptist church in its
affiliation but is non-denominational in its tradition. We
seek to serve our God and Christ through our worship,
mission and outreach programs, and other ministries.
Worship services & Sunday school each Sunday at 10 am. Bible study meets on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m.
Opportunities for community ministry and service through our Chicken Suppers, the Plainfield Chimers, Sunday School, Choir and other special events are waiting for you. Come and join us - we will be blessed by your presence and it is our hope you will be blessed by God's Spirit.

We invite all our
Church Family to a very important Church Mission and
Vision Focus Group meeting in Pierce Hall on
Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 9 am to 11 am.
We now have in
place a new Pastoral Search Committee. The
following members of our Church are serving on
the 2017-2018 PCBC Search Committee: Gordon
Best, John Hendrick, Deborah Johnson, Doris
Mercier, Annette Moore, Mark and Tina Overman,
Loretta Weitzel and Sandra Yeaton. Loretta
Weitzel and Deborah Johnson are co-chairing.
At this meeting we
will break into small groups and hear your thoughts.
Together we will identify the goals and visions that
best meet the needs of our Church.
The Pastoral Search Committee is on the task of securing an interim pastor and continuing to search for a settled pastor. We remain in prayer through this transition time.
